Music executive, Ubi Franklin reportedly loses APC house of assembly ticket to his paternal cousin

Popular Nigerian music executive cum blogger, Ubi Franklin has reportedly lost the APC house of assembly ticket.

Dickson101 reported some weeks back that Ubi Franklin spread his wings to the world of politics, by vying for a position in the house of assembly.

Ubi Franklin, who is under the All Progressive Congress party, campaigned for a position in the Cross River House of assembly Yakurr constituency.

Unfortunately, the blogger failed to pick a ticket as he lost to his paternal cousin, Cyril Omni.

Cutie Julls alleged that he failed to clinch the Cross River State House of Assembly, Yakurr constituency 1, ticket on Thursday, May 26th.

He lost to Cyril Omni, the Special Adviser on Security to the Governor of Cross River State, Ben Ayade.

Mr Omni had secured 17 votes, Ubi Franklin garnered 12 votes and another contestant Ubi Ubi Itam garnered 11 votes.

Dickson101 recalls Ubi Franklin and comedian, Mr Jollof had been dragged online for attending the All Progressive Congress convention in Abuja.

The All Progressive Congress Party Delegate and supporters were at Eagle Square for the party’s 2022 convention.

Ubi Franklin took to his social media handle to share pictures of himself and colleague Mr Jollof as they also graced the event.

Many netizens who stormed the comment section, taunted and called them all sort of names for pitching with the party that many Nigerians are complaining about its administration”.
