JUST IN: Thugs cart away PVC registration machines from Lagos Catholic Church

Suspected political thugs have made away registration machines and disrupted officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission from registering people for the Permanent Voter Card (PVC) at St. Bridget Catholic Church, ljesha, Surulere Lagos

People who came out for the PVC registration scampered for safety while the Parish Priest reportedly locked up the church.

According to Vanguard, a resident of the area who pleaded anonymity said the thugs invaded the venue, saying they wouldn’t be allowed to register because they won’t vote for their (thugs) candidate.

The thugs allegedly destroyed INEC materials and carted away some registration items.

The resident disclosed that the police have been mobilised to the area to prevent further breakdown of law and order.
