Hilarious reactions have trailed the news of Child star singer Rejoice Iwueze’s engagement.
The beautiful singer rose to fame from the gospel music group ‘Destiny Kids’ who had hit songs like ‘Joy Joy Joy’ among others.
Dickson101 reported that the former member of the gospel music group had announced her engagement to Oladapo Temitayo Samuel.
The ‘Joy Joy Joy’ singer shared the good news in an Instagram post over the weekend, where she also posted their pre-wedding photos.
Captioning the photos she wrote: @samtblaze you brighten my world in a million ways. And I’m blessed to call you ‘MINE’”. I said yes to forever.”
Her fiance, Samuel also announced the engagement on his Instagram account.
“Rejoice Iwueze you’re my testimony and I’ll never lose you,” he wrote.
Many expressed mixed feelings about the news as they questioned when they would also get married. Many lamented how they are the same age or a bit older than her yet are still single.

Dickson101 recalls Rejoice’s elder sister, Favour Iwueze married Obinna, a music producer, in 2018.
The couple welcomed their first child in October 2019.
