The fight between Anthony Joshua and Kubrat Pulev for the World Heavyweight Boxing has been suspended due to the COVID-19.
Meanwhile, almost all the sport activities across the globe including football, tennis, NFL, NBA and Athletics, amongst others, have been put on hold as the world fights against the virus that has infected more than 1million persons.
Anthony Joshua's IBF, WBA, WBO and IBO world titles defeat against Bulgaria's Kubrat Pulev,38, was originally organized to take place at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday, 20 June.
However, with more than 50,000 deaths as of April 4, the organizers were forced to halt the bout.
An announcement from Joshua’s promoter Matchroom Boxing stated that a new date for the fight "was being worked on".
Matchroom added it was "continuing to explore the possibility" of hosting the bout at the same venue at a later date.
The 30-year-old's last bout was in December against Andy Ruiz Jr in Saudi Arabia during which he recovered his belts after losing to the American-Mexican in New York last June.
All fights supervise by the British Boxing Board of Control until the end of May have been called off because of the coronavirus pandemic.
