The Nigeria Federal Government has announced that Friday the 1st of May, 2020, a public holiday, to mark the year’s International Workers’ Day Celebration.
However, Ogbeni Rauf Adesoji Aregbesola, the Minister of Interior, announced this on behalf of the Federal Government.
Thus, he aplauded Nigerian via the announcement “workers for their resilience, patience and understanding, particularly in their support of the President Muhammadu Buhari Administration’s efforts at curbing the spread of COVID-19 pandemic in the country”.
