Kano state governor, Gov. Ganduje Fires a Commissioner For ‘rejoicing’ over Abba Kyari’s Death


Abdullahi Ganduje, the Kano state Governor, has fired the Commissioner for Works, Muazu Magaji, for his comments about deceased Chief of Staff to the Nigeria President, Abba Kyari.

Muazu Magaji’s sack came after he took to his Facebook page to announced that ”Nigeria is now free” following the lost of life of Abba Kyari to Coronavirus.

Dickson blog had earlier reported that Muazu expressed happiness over the demise of the former Chief of staff, ABBA Kyari.

However, in a announcement signed by the Commissioner for Information, Malam Muhammad Garba, the commissioner was withdrawed following his careless speeches against the death of the late Chief of Staff to the President, Malam Abba Kyari.

As a public servant, the commissioner supposed to have respected the office by refraining from any act capable of rendering it to disrepute.

“The action of a public servant, personal or otherwise reflects back on the government and therefore, the Ganduje administration would not tolerate people in official capacities engaging in personal vendetta or otherwise,” the statement reads.

The deceased Chief of Staff, Abba Kyari, died of complications from Coronavirus.
