President Buhari expressed bitterness as gun men kills 47 individuals during 3 different attacks In Katsina


The Nigerian President, President Muhammadu Buhari has reacted to the murdering of 47 individuals during series of attacks by bandits in 3 local government areas of Katsina state.

It was reported that 3 different attacks were carried out in Dutsinma, Danmusa and Safana local government areas at around 3am on Sunday by the suspected bandits.

However, during the attacks, police, soldiers, air force and other security personnel were stationed to restore normalcy in the affected communities.

Furthermore, the Nigerian president in an announcement signed by his media aide, Garba Shehu, on Sunday, revealed that he was deeply upset by the development.

He also called on Nigerians not to loss hope to his administration because this administration was determined to crush and conquer these criminal elements taking advantage of the stay-at-home to attack their victims.

President Muhammadu Buhari stated that he will not allow this large scale killing of innocent civilians by the rebels, adding that “in line with my commitment to security of the people, these attacks will be met with decisive force.”

He also ordered the security agencies not to lower their guard which will create a space for the rebels to strike again.

While extending his condolences to the families of those victims, he also called on the people to show more surveillance by reporting any activity of criminal elements in their midst.

Dickson blog recalls that Buhari expressed shocks at the level of insecurity in Nigeria, promising tougher measures against bandits and Boko Haram rebels that had made life difficult for Nigerians.
