The Adamawa State Police Command has apprehended about 13 notorious Shila boys and recovered many weapons and 2 tricycles from them.
The were apprehended on Wednesday, May 13, 2020, by the Taskforce recently constituted by the newly deployed Commissioner of Police.
On parading the suspects on that Wednesday, DSP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje, the spokesperson of the command, say that the team arrested the notorious Sheila boys during its operation within Yola, the state capital.
However, as stated by the statement released, the Command’s Taskforce team has so far dislodged some hideouts of the notorious gang members located at a remote sides of Doubeli, Sanda Primary School in Yola-North and South Local Government Areas, Wauro-Jabbe and Jambutu, and arrested the suspects.
Furthermore, the statement added that the Command equally recovered 2 tricycles with registration Numbers : GRE 335 QE, and YLA 027 WZ, 10 sharp knives, some quantity of proscribed drugs, and dried weeds suspected to be Indian hemp among others.
