Coronavirus: Lagos State government records 4 deaths, 22 recovered and discharged patients


The Lagos state Govt has announced the recovery and discharge of 22 COVID-19 patients from the state.

However, this statement was made known from the State’s ministry of health, and it reads;

22 more #COVID19Lagos patients; 8 females & 14 males, all Nigerians were today discharged from our Isolation facilities at Yaba, LUTH & Lekki to reunite with the society.

The patients; 19 from LUTH, 2 from IDH, Yaba & 1 from our Isolation Centre at Lekki have fully recovered & tested negative twice consecutively to #COVID19With this, number of patients successfully managed & discharged in Lagos is now 247.

Well, in new deveopment, Lagos state also confirmed 4 new coronavirus related deaths.

Also, the State Ministry of Health, took to his official Twitter page to make the announcement on Saturday 2nd May.

“Unfortunately, four #COVID-19 deaths were recorded. This brings the total number of #COVID-19 related deaths in Lagos to 25” the tweet read.

Additionally, the state has recorded 25 persons to died of COVID-19 so far.
