The Nigerian Navy has postponed its training for new recruits of the Nigerian Navy Basic Training School (NNBTS) Batch 30.
On Tuesday, 5th May, the Defense Headquarters took to their official twitter page that those candidates were initially scheduled to begin training on 8th May, 2020, at the NNBTS, Onne Port-Harcourt, Rivers State.
However, the tweet revealed that the resumption date is no longer feasible in view of the current national efforts at curtail the unfold of the novel virus.
Meanwhile, Nigeria has currently recorded 2802 coronavirus cases, with 93 deaths and 417 discharged.
