Mrs. Chinyere Okoye, the Assistant Manager, News and Current Affairs of Nigeria Television Authority (NTA) in Aba, has been abducted.
As it was reported by Sun reports, she was kidnapped on Wednesday night after leaving the office.
She had supervised the 7pm News bulletin and was going home.
And at the front of her compound near Obikabia junction, the kidnappers kidnapped and then drove off in her car.
However, the kidnappers reportedly called the her husband on Thursday morning and asked for ransom.
Nwadi Elobuike, the NTA General Manager in Aba, confirmed the incident to reporters.
The victim previously worked at Enugu NTA Zonal Office before her was transfered to Aba.
