Legendary singer, D’Banj Sues his alleged rape accuser, Ms. Seyitan, for N1.5billion

As it was revealed by the latest report, Nigerian legendary singer, Dbanj through his lawyer, Mike Ozekhome (SAN), has lambasted a libel suit of N1.5 billion on the Ms. Seyitan, a lady who had accused him of rape.


Well, in a letter signed by Mike Ozekhome (SAN), ordered the rape accuser to pay the sum of N1Billion for general damages over the “untold embarrassment, derision, public ridicule, marital disharmony, mental agony and psychological trauma which her tweets and publications have caused Dbanj”.


Seyitan was also ordered to pay another N500k for “representing aggravated, punitive and exemplary damages”.


Furthermore, the lady is also expected to make an appearance in court in the next 30 days of which if she failed to do so may result in judgement being passed in her absence.


It should be recalled that Ms. Seyitan, had alleged that Dbanj raped her at Glee Hotel in Victoria Island, Lagos, back in December 31, 2018,
