“It is hard to escape poverty if you marry during your poverty” - Reno Omokri says

Renowned Nigerian author and lawyer, Reno Omokri has dished out another nugget of wisdom.

The former presidential aide to the former Nigeria president, Goodluck Jonathan, is eminent for his daily nuggets of wisdom and this time around, he has concentrated on poverty and marriage.

As stated by him, it is difficult to get away from poverty when one marries as a poor person.

Reno asked, if you were alone and suffering, what do you think will happen when you add a wife and children to your already struggling self?
