Nigerian Airtel users woke up this morning to see airtime worth of N1k in their accounts, and many have just assumed that “anonymous” hacked airtel.
Well, as it was gathered, the hacker who is yet to be identified, purportedly credited accounts of Airtel users with N1k each.
On Sunday, 18th October, 2020, it was likewise revealed that anonymous purportedly infiltrated DSTV and GOTV channels, providing users all the channels for free. DSTV was later able to recoup its channels.
Right now, some Airtel subscribers have affirmed that they actually got the airtime. Nevertheless, it's as yet unsure on the off chance that it was really hacked or if Airtel compensated its customers with the airtime.
