He expressed that the requests made by Nigerian young people in the #5for5 list of demands is “too weak” which is the reason he's reluctant to engage in the current protest.

“It’s like we’re fighting for police to live a better life,” he stated.

Going further, he revealed that the police are grown-ups and if they are not satisfied with their pay, they can protest or go on strike.

He additionally said that a pay raise isn't the solution to police corruption.

“Increasing police salary will not stop police corruption,”

“If money dey stop corruption, why our politicians still dey thief?” he stated...

Speaking further, he stated that it seems that the average Nigerian is fighting for the issue that affects them, which is police brutality and badgering, because they want to freely drive their Benz without being harrassed. But they don't appear to think about the issues that affect more unfortunate Nigerians.

He said that SARS isn't our solitary issue, including that NURTW boys collect money from market women, okada riders, and bus drivers daily and nobody is fighting for them.

Seun said a call to end the harrassment these poor Nigerians face from these NURTW men who coerce money from them should be remembered for the rundown of requests, rather than advocating for an rise in police salary.

“Everybody is being extorted at every level in this country every day.”

He called the #5for5 “useless demands” and said nobody can drag him to the current agitation in light of the fact that the requests are not genuine enough.
