The Nigerian Army has debunked its involvement in the shooting of EndSARS peaceful protesters at the Lekki toll gate on Tuesday night, 20th October, 2020.
DICKSON BLOG had reported that hours after the declaration of a 24-hour curfew in the state, military personnel opened fire on peaceful protesters at Lekki toll gate.
Well, during the incident, some protesters were purportedly killed and injured after the Military opened fire on them.
In any case, reacting to the incident, the Army in a statement via its official Twitter handle, stated that its soldiers were not at the scene.
It also debunked seizing corpses of victims of the attack
It tweeted, ”Fake news, no soldiers were at the scene.”
