The Lagos state Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu has addressed the unfortunate situation that played out during the ENDSARS peaceful protest at Surulere, Lagos State.
The governor disclosed that he was meeting with the Lagos Commissioner of Police and assured that the nabbed protesters will be released.
In his words...
”I am meeting with the Lagos CP. Protesters will be released and broader issues will be addressed in my meeting with the President tomorrow. Let us take a break from protests tomorrow and give us a chance to take tangible next steps.
The protesters will be released tonight.
