Governor Obaseki’s Aide-de-camp (ADC) Collapses At His Swearing-In Ceremony For 2nd Term (Watch)

The Aide-de-camp (ADC) to the governor of Edo State, Godwin Obaseki on Thursday, 12th November, collapsed during the swearing-in ceremony of the Governor at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium in Edo State.

Soon after he took his oath of office, the Governor took to the podium to give his speech.

Reports gathered that Governor Godwin Obaseki was reading his inaugural speech when the incident occurred, and other security agents had to step in to assist him.

 

The event reportedly took place at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium in Edo State, and the oath of office was administered by the State Chief Judge, Hon. Justice Esther Edigin.

Philip Shaibu,Deputy Governor, flanked by his wife, first took the oath of office at about 11.48pm, before Governor Obaseki, also flanked by his wife took his own oath of office at about 12.00pm.
