“The Holy Spirit arrested him” – Funny reactions as a Nigerian man proposes to his girlfriend in Church (Photos)

One Nigerian man identified as Hycent Ukwayi has attracted hilarious reactions via the social media space after he proposed to his girlfriend within Church premises.

Hycent Ukwayi who is the Special Assistant to the Cross River state Gov. on Equal Opportunities decided to pop the question to the love of his life after the Sunday Mass in the state capital, Calabar.

Well, some of his friends and members of the church have taken to social media and to share pictures from the public proposal which took place on Sunday, November 29.

While numerous individuals congratulated the newly engaged lovers, some made fun of the man with many saying that the ”Holy Spirit finally arrested him after running away countless times.”

Ferdinand Akwaji Ayakpo, penned down, “If God want to catch you, there is nothing anyone can do about it. And for the Holy Spirit to arrest a man in the church is something worthy of note.

“Just as in the case of Jonah and SAUL who later became PAUL, Hycent has evaded arrest countless times but at the appointed time, God did his work and got him converted.

“Brother, may you forever remain a preacher of the gospel and winner of souls for Christ. Receive the grace to live a life worthy of your calling”
