”Time spent praying is time wasted, stop praying and start using your brain” – An Atheist identified as Chris Ozor tells Nigerians

One Nigerian atheist identified as Chris Ozor, has dished out an advice to Nigerians to halt wasting their time praying and start using their brains to think and solve problems.

Ozor made this submission in a recent post he shared via his Facebook timeline.

He disclosed that for every minute someone spends praying, it’s actually 10 minutes of not using one’s brain in thinking and bringing about solution to their problems that necessitated the prayer.

Proffering a solution in a counsel he gave on Facebook, he advised that Nigerians ought to start using their brains to think out solutions instead of resort to prayers.

In his words, 

“Dear Nigerians: for every minute you pray, you waste ten minutes not using your brain. Solution: stop praying and start using your brain to think and solve problems.”
