Some distressed youth on Saturday morning took to the Daudu major road in Benue State to protest the mysterious vanishing of the manhood of some men in the community.
The community youths alleged that the incident had been a recurrent phenomenon in the community in the last couple of weeks. No less than 6 young men have had their penis vanish strangely in the past few weeks, a development which led the protest.
The youths had to resort to protest after their traditional ruler didn't pay attention to their predicament.
The acting traditional ruler of the community, Chief Chado Oliver (acting Tyoor of Daudu) revealed that when the issue was reported to him, he advised them to bring a casualty so he could affirm their claims but they haven’t done so.
Meanwhile, DSP Catherine Anene, the state police command spokesperson, disclosed that she is not aware of any vanishing of manhood.
