"Still so unreal" - 2face finally pens down tribute for late Sound Sultan, makes promise to his wife and children

Legendary Nigerian singer, 2face Idibia has finally penned down a tribute for his friend and music star Olanrewaju Abdul-Ganiu Fasasi, popularly known as Sound Sultan.

Hours after the family announced the singer’s demise, Tuface shared a black image on his Instagram page and captioned it ‘NO.’

In a new post shared on Instagram, Tuface said the news of Sound Sultan’s death is still unreal, and he could not bring himself to write a tribute for him.

He said he’s grateful for the music star and the blessing he represented in his life. He promised the deceased that his family and would be safe and live a good life.

Couldn’t bring myself to do this but what can we do. Rest well. Till we meet again my dear friend and brother.

Still so unreal. Will never stop celebrating u. I promise u your fam will be safe and good. GRATEFUL for u and the blessings that u represented in my life.

Dickson101 recalls that Sound Sultan died in the early hours of today, Sunday, July 11, at the age of 44, following his battle with Angioimmunoblastic T- Cell Lymphoma.
