RB Leipzig Forward, Dani Olmo Rejects Manchester Clubs To Agree Deal With Barcelona


RB Leipzig striker, Dani Olmo is set to complete a move to Barcelona Fc in January after turning down Manchester City and Manchester United.

As per El Nacional, a verbal agreement has been reached between the player and Barcelona president, Joan Laporta.

Dani Olmo played a significant role in Spain’s Euro 2020 campaign featuring in 5 games and grabbing three assists.

Manchester United reportedly tabled a mouth-watering offer for the Spaniard but he turned it down refusing a move to England.

Barcelona’s latest financial struggles could disrupt the deal given that the 23-year-old is currently valued at €50million.

Nonetheless, the 23-year-old is keen on returning to the club whose La Masia academy he graduated from.

As such, he is open to a loan move in January with the option of making the deal permanent.
