JUST IN: Emir of Rano has lost his life - Kano state monarch

HRH Dr Tafida Abubakar Ila II, the Emir of Rano,

has lost his life. 

Emir of Rano is one of the Emirs of the newly created emirates in Kano.

According to the reports gathered, the Emir pass away on Saturday 2nd of May, at Nasarawa state Specialist Hospital.

The Emir reportedly died at 4:45pm after a brief illness.

However, it is unknown if the emir’s illness is related to coronavirus or not

Meanwhile, on the confirmation of his death, Kabiru Alhassan Rurum, the former speaker of the Kano State House of Assembly, disclosed that the late Emir was rushed to the hospital on Friday while in a critical condition.

Furthermore, he revealed that the burial of the monarch would be on Saturday, according to Islamic rites.
